Hamilton Memorial Hospital will be offering annual Fall Wellness fasting blood draws starting Thursday, October 8 through Thursday, October 22. Blood draw times will be available Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm and new this year, Saturday hours from 7am to 11am. The Fall Health & Book Fair will be Thursday, October 15 starting at 9am, with the Health Fair ending at 11am and the Book Fair continuing until 4pm.

“Year-after-year we continue to offer the Fall Wellness blood draws as a community service to give people the opportunity to receive lab work at a significantly lower cost. This year we felt it was important to include hours on Saturday for those that can’t make it during the week to have their lab work,” stated Greg Sims, CEO Hamilton Memorial Hospital.

Wellness screening options include:

$50 Health Screen Profile – Includes Cholesterol, Triglycerides,

Glucose, BUN, Creatinine, Total Bilirubin, CBC, GFR, Calcium, Total

Protein, AST, Alk Phosphatase, Albumin, Phosphorus, Sodium,

Potassium, Chlorine, CO2, and TSH

$70 Health Screen Profile & PSA – Includes same testing

as $50 Health Screen profile with the addition of PSA screening for

prostate cancer in men

$20 PSA Screening – Prostate Cancer test for men

$10 Wellness Profile – Glucose and good/bad breakdown of

cholesterol, and GFR – these are all included in $50 Health Screen Profile

$2 Blood Typing – Identifies blood type; includes a card with blood

type listed. Can be added to any of the tests.

For most accurate results, participants should be “fasting” – no food or drink, except water after midnight before blood draw. Results will be provided to participant and their designated provider.

The annual Fall Health & Book Fair will also be held on Thursday, October 15^th from 9am – 11am during Fall Wellness.

Booths featuring health related information and vendors will be in the hospital lobby.
