HMHD Receives Fresh Produce Donation from United Way South Central Illinois

United Way, with assistance from the USDA Farmer to Family grant and Cusumano & Sons, donated 200 fresh produce boxes to all Hamilton Memorial Hospital District (HMHD) employees.

“On behalf of all HMHD employees, we sincerely thank United Way and Cusumano & Sons for their generous donation. This donation shows our employees how much our communities and fellow businesses appreciate the dedication they have shown during this national pandemic,” said Bethany Reyling, Marketing and PR Manager Hamilton Memorial Hospital.

“United Way is a nonprofit organization that focuses on giving back to the communities we serve and we could not think of a better way than supporting our local healthcare heroes. Showing them our appreciation and support, especially during a national pandemic, is all part of our mission at United Way, to Live United,” said Natalie Wellen, Executive Director South-Central Illinois United Way.

South Central Illinois United Way is located at 802 S. 42nd Street in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. For more information on United Way, visit uswci.org or call 618.242.8000.
