HMHD RESTRICTS VISITORS EFFECTIVE FRIDAY, MARCH 20

In order to provide the safest possible environment for patients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, beginning Friday, March 20th at noon, Hamilton Memorial Hospital District will implement restricted access measures.  

 

No outside visitors will be allowed into Hamilton Memorial Hospital in-patient unit including access to transitional care rehabilitation patient rooms. Exceptions will be made for one adult accompanying pediatric patients and special end-of-life situations.

 

“With confirmed COVID-19 cases in Southern Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky areas, we are taking the measures to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 to our high-risk patients and health care providers”, said HMHD CEO, Victoria Woodrow.
