McLeansboro, Illinois –  Hamilton Memorial Hospital Foundation is now accepting nominations for its annual Distinguished Health Care Provider of the Year Award. This honor recognizes an individual or group (living or deceased) who has made a significant and lasting impact on the health and welfare of individuals in the communities served by Hamilton Memorial Hospital.

Eligible nominees are those who have demonstrated excellence in health care through compassionate service, innovation, and commitment to improving patient care, quality of life, and the public's understanding of health and wellness.

Community members are encouraged to submit nominations for those who have:

• Worked to improve the quality of patient care
• Made notable contributions to public health education or advocacy
• Demonstrated a lifelong commitment to advancing health and wellness in our region.
