Thank you for choosing Hamilton Memorial Hospital and Clinics for your care. 

Upon arriving at the hospital you must register for all outpatient and inpatient services. Please bring your insurance cards with you each time you come for services. This will ensure that the proper insurance companies and/or appropriate parties are billed for your services.

Insurance claims are filed by staff in our Business Office as a courtesy to our patients in compliance with the Fair Patient Billing Act, 210 ILCS 88.  Our Billing Staff are trained and well equipped with the latest electronic billing technology to ensure proper claim submission for timely payment from your insurance company.

Our billing staff may contact you if additional information is needed to complete the filing of your claim.

If you would like more information or need assistance about a claim filed, you may call the Business Office at 618/643-2361, ext. 2073, between 8a.m. and 4 p.m, Monday through Friday or email billing@hmhospital.org.

Payment Arrangements

At any time during your hospital stay or upon receiving your statement of charges, you may contact extension 2073 to make payment arrangements on your account(s) or to request an itemized bill of your charges. If you believe you may be eligible for financial assistance, we do have programs available to help you with your financial obligation. If you have uninsured children under the age of 18, you may qualify for the Illinois state program ALLKIDS. Please log onto www.allkids.com for income qualifications. A hospital representative can help you complete the application and submit it for you.
